Some things can only shift when you leave.

The breakthroughs you’ve been waiting for don’t live inside your current routine.

Our immersions are designed to take you out of it — and bring something essential back.

You haven’t met all of yourself yet.

Most of us have spent decades being excellent at other people’s priorities – the career, the family, the expectations we inherited before we were old enough to question them.

And somewhere in all of that, the most real version of ourselves went quiet. Not gone — quiet.

At The ServantEDGE, we use the metaphor of a jar: you cannot see the outside label until you step out of the jar.  You may know there are other possibilities, perspectives, approaches, and ways of being – but you can’t see them when you’re swimming inside.  When you step out of your daily environment and into a different culture, rhythm, and relational field — the jar falls away. You can suddenly read your own label. You see yourself with a clarity that’s almost impossible to access from inside your ordinary life.  You uncover the you that was always there.

That is the design behind every ServantEDGE immersion. We take you into a living classroom, purposefully constructed, where the unfamiliar does the work that the familiar never could.

Immersions at The ServantEDGE are:

  • Purposeful, curated, and highly localized
  • Grounded in reflection, dialogue, and experimentation
  • Integrated with executive coaching and intentional themes
  • Designed to carry learning and insight back into real life

Why Leaving Works

We cannot think our way into our next chapter. We know – because we’ve tried. We’ve journaled, workshopped, planned, and set intentions.  We declared we would start at New Years or when the kids started school or when the kids left for college or when we married or when we divorced or some other imagined time that came and went.

And meanwhile, the thing we most want to do is still sitting in the pocket, folded and waiting.

Sometimes what’s needed isn’t more reflection inside the same four walls. It’s a different altitude. A different language. A woman on the other side of the world who leads with a clarity you recognize immediately — because you have it too, and you’d forgotten.

Our immersions are built around encounters that don’t happen any other way: a Mayan ceremonial leader at a sacred lake inside a volcanic crater. A community of women in the Guatemalan highlands who have been making collective decisions without titles for generations. A writing sanctuary in the Costa Rican mountains where your manuscript gets the sustained attention — and expert feedback — it has been waiting for.  Encounters with gorillas deep in the Virunga Mountains of Rwanda or the women who changed a corner of the world in Tanzania and Nepal.

These encounters don’t just inspire. They interrupt. And interruption is exactly what’s needed.

The impact is not found in the destination. It is found in what you bring home.

What to Expect

Every immersion is shaped by its unique place, focus, and participants. Across all of them, certain qualities remain constant:

  • Thoughtful facilitation and intentional design
  • A balance of structure and open inquiry
  • Opportunities for individual and collective reflection
  • Integrated coaching by internationally certified coaches
  • Local encounters you cannot access on a tourist trip
  • Clear intention and action around learning and re-entry into life

There is nothing like walking into a village, sitting with a community leader, sharing a meal, and seeing yourself for the first time.  My entire life shifted, and I just got it.  When I flew home, I finally launched my company and never looked back.”  — Stephanie H., Managing Director

Upcoming Immersion Experiences

Each year, The ServantEDGE designs a small number of immersive experiences rooted in place, relationship, and purpose. These experiences are intentionally small, carefully facilitated, and shaped by the people who gather. What emerges is rarely what participants expect — and almost always what they needed most.

I still can’t believe how impactful that journey to Zimbabwe was. Years later, I’m still seeing the difference it made in my life, in my family’s life. Truly more than I have words to say.”  — Jennifer J, Consultant

How Immersions Connect Show Up

The immersion is the pivot point.

Many women arrive to an immersion through the Substack newsletter, a talk or speech, a referral, one of our Circles, or a coaching conversation – or sometimes because she just gets it from reading our website.

Women tell us over and over again: “It’s like you see me.  I’m standing here, not sure how to move forward, but I know I have to do something.”

We welcome you – all the parts, including the “what the heck am I doing” part.

Join us for an informational session.
