Something Has to Change. You Already Know It.
Something isn’t working.
And that gap between where you are and where you want to be is getting harder to explain away.
That is exactly where coaching begins.
This isn’t about fixing what’s broken
Nothing is broken. That’s the first thing worth saying.
The women and men who come to coaching at The ServantEDGE are not struggling with talent or intelligence or work ethic. They are struggling with something more specific: they cannot see their own label from inside the jar. They are too close to their own lives to see clearly what’s holding them back, what they’re capable of, or what the next move actually is.
That’s not a character flaw. That’s just what happens when you’ve been running hard for a long time without space to stop and look.
Coaching creates that space. Not to tell you what to do — but to create the conditions for you to see what you already know and haven’t yet let yourself act on.
Our approach puts identity first and skills second — because the practical scaffolding doesn’t stick until the inner shift happens. We work on both, in that order, every time.
Coaching here is not about answers. It is about restoring the capacity to find them — and the confidence to act on them.
“Your coaching has made a profound difference in not just my professional life, but also in my personal relationships. Truly exceptional skills and a fabulous partnership.” — Meredith O., M.D.
Do you recognize yourself here?
You’ve been meaning to write the book, launch the business, take the risk, pursue the dream, do that thing — and you keep not doing it. The reasons change. The pattern doesn’t.
You know something needs to shift. You just can’t see it from inside it.
You’ve spent decades being excellent at other people’s priorities. You are ready — finally, impatiently ready — to bring that same energy to your own.
You’re not stuck on craft or talent or ideas. You’re stuck on something harder to name: confidence, permission, not knowing how to begin or what comes after.
You have a plan — or the beginning of one — but no one in your life who will both believe in it completely and tell you the hard truth when you need to hear it.
You’ve hit a wall you can’t push through alone. And you’re finally willing to say that out loud.
If any of that lands — you are in the right place.
“You walked into my life when I was at a transition stage in my business and personally felt all over the place. Your listening – really listening – and questions you asked were always spot on and opened up insights everytime we talked. I don’t know how to thank you.”
Who We Work With
Individuals in a variety of life transitions. Our coaching engagements are always tailored for each person and situation.
- Women at a creative or life pivot point – claiming a new identity, launching a body of work, stepping into a public voice, or finally making real the thing they’ve been circling for years.
- Founders and professionals at inflection points — career transitions, new roles, or periods of genuine reassessment
- Emerging leaders trying to figure out who they are in new contexts, demands, and responsibilities
- Influencers unsure how to manage significant visibility, organizations, and staff
When you’re ready to examine your own impact, when you’re willing to dive under the surface and really look at what is happening, we are your trusted partners to make those consequential shifts.
Who Is Sitting Across from You
Credentials matter. So does the kind of experience that can’t be earned in a classroom.
Our coaching team is certified and trained by leading institutions in executive coaching, leadership development, and adult learning. We are lifelong learners; our doctoral work, for example, has explored the leaders’ value of participating in virtual leadership communities of practice, and how to use immersion experiences and dissonance to catalyze leadership and personal development. We have worked in more than 60 countries — across development contexts, government institutions, multinational organizations, private sector companies, and high-stakes personal transitions.

What you can count on
No two coaching engagements are the same. But across all of them, you can count on:
A partnership built on genuine trust, candor, and confidentiality — where you can say the thing you haven’t said anywhere else.
Space for real reflection and inquiry without prescribed answers or a performance checklist. We get into the unasked questions.
Attention to both the inner work and the outer challenge — because they are not separate things.
A clear through-line from insight to action to integration — so what shifts in a session doesn’t evaporate by Monday.
A pace that honors depth over urgency, while staying grounded in your actual life and constraints.
Coaching engagements typically unfold over months, not weeks. The rhythm, frequency, and shape of the work are designed collaboratively at the start of every engagement.
Coaching is the beginning, not the whole
Every coaching engagement is designed and tailored for your context and your purpose.
For many women, coaching is where the work starts — the 1:1 space where the internal roadblocks get named and the plan begins to take shape. From there, some join a Circle for community and accountability. Some go to Guatemala or Costa Rica or Namibia or Barbados or some other adventures with us, where the living classroom accelerates what the coaching started. Some arrive at coaching after an immersion, ready to integrate what shifted there.
The path is different for everyone. What matters is that you start somewhere.
“You are exceptional at what you do. I am more effective, more grounded, and better able to lead and manage my teams and my organization because of our coaching together.”
— Oscar L., Executive Director
The Conversation Is Where It Starts
You don’t need to have it figured out before we talk. You may not be sure what you need. That’s what the conversation is for.
We will listen, ask good questions, and help you assess whether coaching is the right next step and what form it might take.
No obligation. No pressure. Just a real conversation.
